Aurora BB Continues Rivalry Weekend Against Northwest

Aurora battles Northwest this afternoon after splitting with York yesterday. Varsity girls begin at 3:30 with the boys to follow. 

Yesterday, the York girls used a strong defensive effort for a 42-28 win over the Huskies. Aurora led three nothing after the first possession, but York scored the next 10 and never trailed again. 

The Aurora boys held off the Dukes 52-45. The Huskies opened the game with a 9-0 run and started the second half on a 12-2 spurt. But the Dukes rallied from 20 down to within five with under a minute to go. Cannon Allen scored 18. Booker Scheieirman added 12 for the Huskies.
