Aurora BB Splits at AG Tourney

The Aurora girls didn't appear to suffer from a layoff letdown. The Huskies had a pair of 20 point quarters to blow out Roncalli 68-41 in the semifinals of the Ashland-Greenwood Holiday Tournament. Evelyn Kraus score 18. Kenna Merrihew and Paisley Bartek added 10 for the Huskies. 

The Roncalli boys never trailed in a 54-41 win over Aurora. The Huskies never got closer than five after falling behind 14-2 in the first. Brooks Handrup scored 13. Ryan Staehr added 11. Aurora is playing without Cannon Allen this tournament as he recovers from an unspecified injury. 

Aurora plays Lincoln Christian on Tuesday. Pregame coverage begins for the boys at 11:45am. The girls' championship game tips off at 1:30. Both games will be broadcast on 97.3 the Wolf.

In the other games, the Lincoln Christian girls beat Ashland-Greenwood 62-11. Ashland-Greenwood won the boys' game 52-44.
