Aurora BB Splits at Milford

The favorites controlled the action in a basketball double header on Thursday.

The Milford girls took a 60-22 win over Aurora. The Eagles shot 65 percent from the field in the first half and forced 15 turnovers to build a 44-10 lead.

The Aurora boys used strong defense to pull away in the second half for a 53-32 win. Booker Scheierman scored 20 while Cannon Allen added 14.

Aurora hosts O'Neill on Saturday. Next coverage of the Huskies will be January 24 at Seward on 97.3 the Wolf.
