Aurora Falls to Columbus Lakeview

The Aurora Softball team gave Columbus Lakeview a battle before falling 5-2 on Thursday. Adi Fahrnbruch doubled to open the game and scored on a ground out from Zoe Johnson. Kaelin Sparr added a solo homer for the other Aurora run. Johnson scattered five hits and was the tough-luck loser as she didn't allow an earned run. Aurora (9-14) will be at the Crete Tourney on Saturday. The Aurora/GICC game will be broadcast as part of Crusader coverage Monday on AM 1430 KRGI/105.5 FM and KRGI.com.
