Aurora GBB Visits Crete to Open the Post-season

For the third time in a month, the Aurora girls battle Crete. It's the semifinal game of the B-2 District Tournament. The Cardinals (14-10) earned a 42-36 win over the Huskies (12-9)  in the semifinals of the Central Conference Tournament. Crete took a 58-50 double overtime win from Aurora in the regular season finale for the Huskies on February 12th.

Kaitlyn Staehr is averaging 10 points and six rebounds to pace the Huskies. Kassidy Egge has led Crete during its nine game winning streak. She's been in double figures 12 straight times and averaging 13 points and 14 rebounds. She's had a combined 31 points and 38 rebounds in the two wins over Aurora.
