Aurora VB Rallies Past North Platte

The Aurora Volleyball team lost the first set, trailed by seven in the third, and four in the fourth, but earned a five-set win at North Platte on a long night of volleyball. The varsity began an hour later than scheduled on senior night.
North Platte outscored Aurora 8-1 to end the first. The Huskies never trailed in dominating the second set. Aurora was down 16-9 in third before outscoring the Bulldogs 16-4. North Platte came from four down in the fourth and won going away. In the fifth, Aurora was down 8-4 before coming back.
Kaitlyn Staehr led the Huskies in kills. Evelyn Kraus and Paityn Wyatt each had big service matches. Trinity Urmacher led the team in digs and serve receptions. Hailey Hoff topped the team in set assists.
