Cats fall at home vs Sandy Creek
The St. Paul Wildcats fell in a double header Saturday night at home vs Sandy Creek.
On the Girls side, The Cougars jumped out to a 12-5 lead before taking a 13-6 second quarter to give themselves a 25-11 lead at the half. The Cats stormed back in the 2nd half outscoring Sandy Creek 24-18 in the half cutting the deficit to 2 points before ultimately falling.
St. Paul sits now at 5-7. Aubree Fitzgerald led the team with 12 points.
The St. Paul Boys suffered a tough loss as well falling 46-43. St. Paul jumped out to an early 24-21 halftime lead before Sandy Creek edged the Cats 25-19 in the 2nd half to come away with the late W.
St. Paul falls to 4-8. Gage Sack led the team in scoring with 16 points.
