Cornhusker Chaos Indoor Demolition Derby Coming to HEC in 2026

Grand Island, Neb. — One of the largest indoor demolition derby events in the world is returning to Grand Island as “Cornhusker Chaos” takes over the Heartland Events Center February 4-7.

Presented by Wreckless Promotions, “Cornhusker Chaos” will feature six action-packed sessions across four days, bringing together 278 pre-registered drivers from 13 different states. Competitors will battle it out for a chance to take home a share of a $200,000 purse, making this one of the most competitive and high-stakes indoor demolition derbies in the country.

A Wreckless Promotions ticket presale begins Wednesday, December 17 at 10 a.m., followed by the Heartland Events Center presale on Thursday, December 18 at 10 a.m. Tickets will then  go on sale to the general public Friday, December 19 at 10 a.m. Children under the age of 3 will not require an admission ticket. An All-Event Pit Pass will also available for fans who want full access to the entire event!

Cornhusker Chaos continues to draw drivers and fans from across the region and beyond, cementing the Heartland Events Center as a premier destination for large-scale motorsports entertainment.
