Critical fire weather conditions are expected across the area during the afternoon and evening hours. A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 12pm to 9pm today. Southwest winds gusting 35-45mph and low humidity result in critical fire weather conditions today.
Strong northerly winds move into northeastern portions of the area behind a cold front tonight. A High Wind Watch is in effect 9pm to 3am Friday for northeastern portions of the area with wind gusts up to 60mph possible.
