Fire Weather Watch In Effect Saturday

A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from 11AM-9PM Saturday for all of south central Nebraska.
Near-critical to critical fire weather conditions will be possible across the entire forecast area on Saturday.
High temperatures reach the mid 80s to mid 90s, with afternoon relative humidity values dropping into the 15-25% range.
Gusty winds are expected to develop across the entire area, starting the day out of the south, then switching to the west, then more northerly as a surface cold front swings through the region during the afternoon/evening hours.
