Football: Missed PAT Gives Northwest A One Point Win Over Scottsbluff

(Grand Island, NE) - An absolutely wild game from Viking Field on Friday night saw Northwest down Scottsbluff for the first time in seven tries 35-34. Northwest in the second half would score three straight times to tie the game at 21 all and then take a 35-21 lead. Scottsbluff would then mount the comeback efforts. The Bearcats put together a 95-yard drive and would score a touchdown to trail 35-34 with 1:20 to go in the game. The point after would miss off the right upright. Northwest is now 2-3 on the season. Scottsbluff is 3-2. The Bearcats welcome Waverly to Bearcat Stadium next Friday. Northwest will host Hastings.
