Free Classes to Focus on Medicare

Hastings, Neb – Central Community College-Hastings will offer two free classes on Medicare.

The first, “Welcome to Medicare,” will focus on what Medicare costs and covers, when and how to enroll and the difference between a Medicare supplement and Medicare Advantage. It will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 1.

The second,” Navigating Medicare,” will provide students with a step-by-step guide to using medicare.gov to address cost and drug plan coverage and with information on where to get the best prices. It will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 8.

The instructor comes from the Nebraska Health Insurance Information Plan (SHIP), a division of the Nebraska Department of Insurance.
