Offense: Domestic Assault
Victim: 48 yr old female & 19 yr old male Incident #: L25030021
Date and Time of Incident: between 2/28/25 & 3/1/25
Location of Incident: 2748 N Webb Rd
Brief Narrative: On 03/01/2025 at 0136 hrs, officers responded to 111 Public Safety Dr; Grand Island Police Department for a reported domestic assault call for service. Victim reported the domestic assault took place at 2748 Webb Rd N on 02/28/2025. Victim stated during the incident her boyfriend grabbed her neck multiple times causing pain. The boyfriend told the victim that one of them would leave the residence alive. It was also reported that the boyfriend damaged multiple household items and three vehicles at the residence. The boyfriend had also ripped off a gold chain off the victim's neck causing damage to the chain. Case is open.

Location of Incident: S Plum St & Sutherland St
Brief Narrative: On 3/1/2025 around 20:20 officers witnessed a Honda Pilot driving south on Oak St. The Honda failed to turn into the closest lane when turning eastbound on 1st St. A traffic stop was conducted on the Honda and the driver was identified as Mario Urdiales by his Nebraska identification card. Mario was found to have a suspended Nebraska driver’s license. Mario was seen having bloodshot eyes and the odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. Mario admitted to using Marijuana and showed signs of impairment during standardized field sobriety test. Mario was transported to the Law enforcement Center where a DRE completed an evaluation finding Mario to be under the influence. A search of the vehicle was conducted a bag of 0.5 grams of methamphetamine belonging to Mario. Mario was placed under arrest for DUI-Drug 3rd Offense, Driving During Suspension, Possession of Controlled Substance, Improper Turn and a Cass County Warrant (CR24-703).

Offender: Leonardo Castro-Castro
Date and Time of Incident: 3/1/25 @ 05:36
Location of Incident: S Eddy St & W Charles St
Brief Narrative: On 03-01-2025 at approximately 05:36 hours a white 2007 Toyota Camry bearing Nebraska was observed southbound on Broadwell Ave. from 2nd St. at a high rate of speed. The Camry would turned eastbound onto Charles St and continued in excess of the posted 25MPH speed limit. Officer was eventually able to pace the vehicle at 33MPH. While behind the vehicle, it failed to maintain its driving lane and drove in the parking lane. A traffic stop was conducted near Eddy St and Charles St. where the driver was identified as Leonardo Castro-Castro from previous law enforcement contacts. Leonardo had an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. Leonardo stated he was having a difficult night due to recently breaking up with his girlfriend. Leonardo also admitted not having a valid license. A records check showed Leonard was revoked with a prior conviction in Hall County Nebraska on 11-08-2024. The records also showed three prior DUI convictions in Hall County on 11-08-2024, two on 12-08-2023, with two minor in possession convictions in Hall County on 08-05-2022 and 06-24-2020.
Leonardo performed standardized field sobriety tests and showed gross impairment. Leonardo was read the preliminary breath test advisement. After the observation period expired Leonardo provided a failing breath sample that was consistent with the impairment I observed. Leonardo was placed under arrest and read the post arrest advisement form and consented to a chemical breath test. Leonardo was transported and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections without
incident. The vehicle was inventoried and led to the discovery of an open beer bottle and sealed malt liquor. Leonardo Castro-Castro was arrested for Speeding, Driving During Revocation, Minor in Possession 3rd, Driving Under the Influence 4th.

Location of Incident: E 16th St & N Kimball
Brief Narrative: On 03/01/2025, an unplated grey Chevy SUV was observed driving through the alley on 16th near Vine and Oak Street. Officers attempted to catch up to the vehicle and it parked in a driveway on 16th and Kimball. A male passenger exited the vehicle and ran through the alley. The male then ran northbound towards 17th Street and into the alley. Officers gave the male commands to stop running and identified themselves as Law Enforcement. The male was located in the yard between two houses on 17th Street. Officers observed and recognized the male as Jake Jacquot. Officers know Jake to have a Hall County Warrant, and a records check confirmed this. Jake was arrested for FTA: Operate Motor Vehicle to Avoid Arrest, Resisting 29-426 IV FO CR24-416 Hall County Obstruction.

Location of Incident: W 6th St & N Walnut St
Brief Narrative: A traffic stop was initiated on a dark colored motorcycle near the intersection of 6th and Walnut after the motorcycle was observed to have no taillights. As the stop was initiated, the driver fled at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at two separate stop signs while other traffic was present in the area.

Victim: Pump & Pantry Incident #: L25030184
Offender: Sierra Hansen
Date and Time of Incident: 3/2/25 @ 14:38
Location of Incident: 704 W 2nd St
Brief Narrative: An adult female was reported to have selected a sandwich and then enter the bathroom at the Pump and Pantry on 2nd St. Female exited the store and was contacted admitting to hiding the sandwich in her backpack before walking west on 2nd St. Sierra Hansen was located wearing the same clothing later in the evening and was arrested for the theft by shoplifting. During the arrest, Sierra pulled away from officers, kicked an officer, and had to be carried to be secured in the patrol car. A criminal history shows she has one prior conviction for shoplifting out of Hall County, NE under docket number C08CR110002820. Sierra was medically cleared and booked into Hall County Department of Corrections for Theft by Shoplifting- 2nd Offense, Assault on Peace Officer, Resisting Arrest and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Offender: Ruben Cruz & Jacqueline Ruiz
Date and Time of Incident: 3/3/25 @ 01:25
Location of Incident: W 16th St & N Cedar St
Brief Narrative: On 03/03/2025, An unplated Jeep Cherokee was observed driving southbound on Cedar. A traffic stop was conducted on 16th and Cedar. The driver was identified as Ruben Cruz from prior contacts. Ruben was unable to provide valid registration for the vehicle and the title showed Ruben purchased the vehicle in November of 2024. While speaking to Ruben, a rolled-up baggy of methamphetamine was observed behind Ruben's ear. The baggy tested positive for
Methamphetamine on a TruNarc test. The methamphetamine weighed 0.7 grams. During a search of
the passenger's purse, Officers located a container of marijuana. The marijuana weighed 14.3 grams.
The passenger was identified as Jacqueline Ruiz. Ruben Cruz was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and No Valid Registration. Jacqueline Ruiz was cited for Possession of Marijuana less than 1 oz.

Offender: Nicole Redding & Jaymon Steigely
Date and Time of Incident: 3/2/25 @ 12:45
Location of Incident: North Front St & N Madison
Brief Narrative: Officer observed Jaymon Steigely in a vehicle near North Front and Madison and knew Jaymon to have an active arrest warrant. Jaymon was placed under arrest. During a search
incident to arrest, officers discovered suspected meth, syringes, and less than one ounce of marijuana on Jaymon's person. His passenger, Nicole Redding, also had a small amount of suspected meth and several syringes on her person. All suspected meth later tested positive for methamphetamine. Nicole Redding was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance and Possession Drug Paraphernalia. Jaymon Steigely was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance, Possession Marijuana <1oz, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Hall County arrest warrants: FTP: Possession controlled substance, 25-2121, I MO CR24-151, Doc. No: 1313832 and FTP: Poss. drug paraphernalia, 25-2121, INF CR24- 2860, Doc. No: 1313804

Brief Narrative: On 03-03-2025 at approximately 0021 hours, Officers responded to 3428 W Capital Ave in reference to an unknown substance that was found. Officers collected a small baggie with white crystal-like substances.
