The driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest as requested by the investigating law enforcement agency. Diego A. Lara Perez was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property, 28-517, Class IIA Felony

Location of Incident: W 4th St & N Eddy St
Brief Narrative: On 04-17-2025 at approximately 0015 hours, officer conducted a traffic stop on a white Mercedes C300 that was recklessly avoiding officers down residential streets. The vehicle did not stop for officers running a red light at 4th and Eddy St. Officer discontinued the traffic stop due to the reckless nature.
