Brief Narrative: On 05-15-2025 at approximately 05:25 hours a suspicious male call was dispatched to 3106 W North Front St. where victim reported an unknown male, who was later identified as Khamis Yaya, was attempting to take her vehicle while her young child was secured in the back seat. The estimated value of the vehicle was $21,000.00. Khamis was contacted and when attempting to detain him, he became physically uncooperative and had to be forced into handcuffs and forced to sit in the back seat of a patrol vehicle. Khamis was placed under arrest for Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle +$5000 and Obstruction of a Police Officer.

Brief Narrative: On 05-15-2025 at approximately 09:24 hours an injury accident near 4th St. and Madison St where the suspect vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.

Brief Narrative: Officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn near Cottage and Broadwell, by turning into the far lane. Officer conducted traffic stop on the vehicle, which initially pulled over before taking off and fleeing from officers by driving on the shoulder of Hwy 281 and running a red light.
