Offense: Kidnapping
Victim: 24 year old female & 1 year male Incident #: L24011215
Offender: Diblan Cortez-Hernandez

Location of Incident: 1611 N Vine St
Brief Narrative: A mother reported her child was in her vehicle and both were taken by Diblan Cortez-Hernandez. Diblan is not the father of the child or owner of the vehicle. The child and vehicle were returned unharmed and undamaged. Diblan Cortez-Hernandez was arrested for Kidnapping and Unauthorized Use of a Propelled Vehicle.

Offender: Sierra Lovejoy
Date and Time of Incident: 1/19/24 @ 21:45
Location of Incident: 319 S Walnut, Apt 305
Brief Narrative: On 01/19/2024 around 2123 hrs, officers were detailed to 319 S Walnut St, Blackstone Apartments, for a suspicious call. Officers made contact with Sierra Lovejoy in the hallway. A records check of Sierra came back with two active Hall County warrants. Sierra was placed under arrest and a search was conducted. Inside Sierra's bag, drug paraphernalia was located along with a white crystal like substance. The substance was later tested via TruNarc which came back with a presumptive positive for methamphetamine. Sierra was transported to HCDC and booked in for the two Hall County warrants, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Offender: Alvin Diaz
Date and Time of Incident: 1/19/24 @ 07:20
Location of Incident: 1304 W 5th
Brief Narrative: On 01/19/2024 approximately 0737 hours officers were dispatched to 1304 W 5th St. due to a stolen vehicle, 2013 white Nissan Rogue, that was valued at $7,000. The victim said their vehicle was taken at approximately 0730 hours from the front of their house after they had left the vehicle running approximately 0720 hours. On 01/19/2024 approximately 1039 hours a suspect, Alvin Diaz, who was later identified through a USA passport turned himself in at 111 Public Safety Dr. A records check showed his driver’s license was expired and cancelled. Alvin admitted he was confused when he took the victim’s vehicle and drove it around town before ditching the vehicle downtown. Alvin was placed under arrest for No Operator's License/Non-Waiverable and Theft-Unlawful Taking $5,000+.

Victim: Century 21 Property Management Incident #: L24011205
Date and Time of Incident: between 1/16/24 & 1/19/24
Location of Incident: 376 N Elm St, Apt 1
Brief Narrative: Unknown person/s attempted entry into an unoccupied apartment but did not gain entry causing minor damage ($300.00) to door.

Victim: 65 year old female Incident #: L24011251
Date and Time of Incident: 1/19/24 @ 14:30
Location of Incident: 1617 N Elm St
Brief Narrative: 01/19/2024 officers responded to 1617 N Elm Street, reference a civil dispute. After further investigation, the female victim would advise that her intimate partner of two months, physically held her down on the couch, placed his knee on her body, and squeezed her head with both of his hands, earlier in the day. Female states she felt pain when the male did this. The female claims she was afraid that the male was going to kill her. Officers attempted contact with the male and were unsuccessful. Case is under investigation.

Date and Time of Incident: between 1/10/24 & 1/19/24
Location of Incident: 3721 NE Hwy 2
Brief Narrative: Shop manager of Titan Machine reports a flat bed tilt trailer, valued at $25,000, was taken out of the parking lot sometime over the last week by an unknown person.

Victim: 33 year old male Incident #: L24011278

Location of Incident: 2205 N Park Ave
Brief Narrative: Male reports unknown persons took items from the bed of his pickup as well as from inside the unlocked cab with a value of $1,800.

Victim: JM Framing & Exteriors Incident #: L24011285
Date and Time of Incident: between 1/19/24 & 1/20/24
Location of Incident: 3537 W 13th St, Ste 108
Brief Narrative: Unknown person/s attempted to gain entry to a work trailer at a construction site.

Offense: Robbery
Victim: 21 year old male Incident #: L24011408
Offender: Imer Yair Cabrera & Carlos Bejarano-Rodrigues
Date and Time of Incident: 1/21/24 @ 21:10
Location of Incident: 651 Groff St
Brief Narrative: On 01/21/24, Officers would be dispatched to 651 Groff St. in reference to an assault. The reporting party would advise that three males wearing black hoodies with one male wearing a black bandana would enter his home. The reporting party advised that the male with the black bandana would point and threaten him with a small silver handgun. The males would then forcefully take a speaker, silver chains, and clothes. The reporting party would identify one of the males as Imer Yair Cabrera and another male as Carlos. The males would then leave the house. Officers would relocate to Imer's last known address and contact a male wearing a black sweatshirt who would verbally and later identify himself through his Nebraska identification card as Carlos Bejarano-Rodriguez. Carlos would get Imer to the door. Imer and Carlos would deny ever leaving their home and would not provide Officers with any other information. The reporting party would advise that Imer had a neck and hand tattoo. Officers would observe the hand and neck tattoo on Imer. Imer Yair Cabrera was arrested for Robbery and Use Firearm to Commit a Felony. Carlos Bejarano-Rodrigues was arrested for Robbery.

Offense: Terroristic Threats
Victim: 37 year old female Incident #: L24011392
Date and Time of Incident: 1/21/24 @ 15:00
Location of Incident: 1404 W 2nd St
Brief Narrative: On 1/21/2024 at 1827 hours Officers were dispatched to 1404 W 2nd St; Casey's Convenience Store reference threatening. It was reported that around 1500 hours a male would conceal a black facemask that was for sale, go to the bathroom and put it on his face before walking out of the store with it still on. The male would return to the store around 1820 hours and would be confronted by a female employee. The male would threatened to return with a gun and shoot the female employee.
