Brief Narrative: On March 12, 2026, officers conducted a traffic stop near 3501 S. Locust St. The suspect vehicle attempted to elude officers by fleeing. The suspect and vehicle were located. Anthony Holroyd was placed under arrest for traffic and drug violations.

Person Involved: Leopoldo Romero Chavez, Grand Island

Brief Narrative: Officers of the Grand Island Police Department assisted Hall County Adult Probation with a search of 406 Oxnard Ave. During the search, Leopoldo Romero Chavez was found to be in possession of two firearms. Leopoldo is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms. Leopoldo was arrested for the above charge.

Person Involved: Gregory Taitano, Grand Island
Date and Time Reported: 3/12/26 7:15 pm
Location of Incident: W 15th St
Brief Narrative: On 03/12/2026, officers responded to a residence on W 15th St reference an assault between a male and female. The suspect, Gregory Taitano, was contacted at his residence. Gregory resisted arrest and assaulted officers. Gregory was placed under arrest and transported to Hall County Corrections.
