Brief Narrative: On 01/13/2025 at approximately 1251 hours, Officers responded to 113 N Locust in reference to a fraudulent check wrote for $9,800.00. Case is under investigation.

Location of Incident: 306 N Cherokee
Brief Narrative: On 01/13/25 a 61-year-old female reported being involved in a scam. Victim advised she was contacted by a fake account on Facebook disguising as her friend who advised her to apply for a government grant for $50,000. Victim advised she purchased three $500 Visa Pre-Paid cards to send as a shipping fee. Victim did not receive the $50,000 and is out $1,500. Case is under investigation.

Brief Narrative: It was reported that a 13 old claimed that she was touched inappropriately without consent by her father’s cousin back in June of 2024. It was reported that the victim’s father was aware of the allegation. Case is under investigation.
