GIPD Finds Good Samaritan Who Helped Officer

(Grand Island, NE) - The Grand Island Police Department has found it's good samaritan who helped a fellow officer during an arrest on Wednesday, March 5th, at around 3:00 pm in the 4th and Broadwell areas. GIPD in a Facebook post thanked Lito Quinones, who is serving in the United States Army as a Special Forces Operator in the 10th group. On Wednesday, Quinones said he noticed one of the GIPD officers needed help and didn't think twice about offering assistance.

Meet Lito Quinones. Lito currently serves in the army as a special forces operator on the 10th group. He said he didn't do it for the recognition, but is happy to be a symbol of the good in our community.
