Grand Island In Home Robbery Involves Juveniles

(Grand Island, NE) - On Wednesday, March 8th just after 5:00 pm, Grand Island Police Officers were dispatched to 523 N Custer Ave regarding a robbery. Two juveniles were held a gunpoint inside a residence and demanded money and valuables. The suspects hit one of the juveniles in the face with a gun causing pain and injury. The suspects fired one round off inside the residence when the juveniles ran from the residence. $300.00 in US Currency was stolen from the residence. The suspects were later identified and arrested for Robbery, Use of Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony X2 and 2nd Degree Assault. Listed as one of the offenders was Rodolfo Penaflor along with two 14-year-old males, and a 16-year-old male.
