This project, developed by White Lotus Group, addresses the pressing need for affordable housing in Grand Island, offering 46 one- and two-bedroom apartments designed for residents aged 55 and older. Each unit includes modern kitchens, WiFi, and individually controlled thermostats. The Residences also features on-site property management and maintenance, multiple common areas, a fitness center, and outdoor space. Burlington Capital is leading property management of the new community.
The Residences at Liberty Campus is part of the broader Liberty Campus project, which aims to transform the historic Grand Island Veterans Home into a vibrant community space. The completed first phase undertook historic renovation of the Anderson and Pershing Buildings on the west end of the campus - utilizing multiple state and federal funding methods, including historical preservation tax credits, HOME funds, and low-income housing tax credits through the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority’s CRANE program. This redevelopment initiative is part of White Lotus Group’s commitment to preserving the local history of the area while meeting the needs of the community.
