Green named head men’s soccer coach at Hastings College

(Hastings, Nebraska) – Hastings College Athletic Director Chris Clements announced today that Bradley Green has been named as the head men’s soccer coach after spending the past six years at Saint Katherine in San Diego, CA.

"What excites me most is the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of athletes at a college with a rich tradition in sports excellence,” Green said. “I am eager to contribute to the program's legacy and help shape the future of Hastings College men’s soccer program.”

In his six seasons as the head coach at Saint Katherine, Green managed to grow the program from just five players in 2018 to a consistent roster of 25-30 players. Green evolved the program with very little resources to a competitive team in the California Pacific Conference.

"As the new head coach of Hastings College men’s soccer program, I hope to bring a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to developing both the athletic and personal growth of our student athletes,” Green continued. “I am looking forward to building a competitive and cohesive team which has a culture of discipline and high work ethic which will maximize our student athletes potential.”

During his time with the Firebird program, Green Coached eight all-conference performers, four scholar-athletes and three academic all-district honorees.

"We are very excited to welcome Coach Green to the Hastings College family," Athletic Director Chris Clements said. "I believe he has proved himself to be a fantastic recruiter and also managed a roster composed of athletes from across the world. The success that he has achieved in the CaliforniaPacific Conference will allow him to make an immediate impact in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.”

Green will start leading the program immediately while he and his family make the move from California to Hastings this summer.
