Hall County Sheriff's Office Welcomes New K9

(Grand Island, NE) - The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is proud to introduce K9 Kilo, the newest addition to our K9 Unit. Kilo is a 20-month-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix and a fully certified dual-purpose K9 specializing in narcotics detection and patrol work. His patrol training encompasses criminal apprehension, evidence recovery, and tracking.

Kilo will significantly enhance our capabilities in drug enforcement, building searches, suspect apprehension, and community demonstrations. Highly driven and focused, Kilo brings exceptional energy to the team — and is sure to keep his handler, Deputy L. Rojas, sharp and ready.
