Heartland United Way Breaks Campaign Record, Awards New Car

The need continues to grow, but so does the generosity in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties.

Heartland United Way’s 2024-2025 campaign chairs Andy and Erin Marsh announced $1,712,264 has been raised, exceeding the $1.65 million goal. This marks the largest amount ever raised for a HUW campaign.

Generous donors giving $312 were entered into the 25 Keys of Christmas Car Giveaway, getting the chance to win a brand new 2024 all electric Cadillac LYRIQ Luxury 2 generously donated by Tom and Kim Dinsdale. On Thursday, Santa drew Sandy Mead, from Principal Financial, as the winner at Dinsdale Automotive.

“I’m shocked. I’m speechless. I feel very blessed and I’m proud to support the United Way and I just can’t tell people enough to please support the United Way,” Mead said.
