Jackrabbit Run Names Taytom Timbers as Head Golf Professional

Grand Island, Neb. — Jackrabbit Run Golf Course has announced the hiring of Taytom Timbers as its new Head Golf Professional, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the municipal course as preparations continue for the 2026 season.
Timbers joins Jackrabbit Run with a strong passion for player development, course operations and growing the game of golf at the community level. In his new role, he will oversee daily golf operations, tournament coordination, instructional programming and member engagement while working closely with course staff to enhance the overall golfer experience.
General Manager SaDonna Manfull said Timbers stood out throughout the hiring process for both his professional background and his vision for the future of Jackrabbit Run.

As Head Golf Professional, Timbers will focus on expanding youth programming, strengthening league and tournament offerings and enhancing customer service across all aspects of golf operations. His hiring comes as the course continues offseason preparations to ensure strong course conditions and an engaging calendar of events for the upcoming season.
