Juveniles injured in multi-vehicle accident in Merrick County

PALMER - Merrick County Sheriff Deputies were detailed to Highway 92 west of 5th road near Palmer to investigate a two vehicle injury accident.
Preliminary investigation concluded that a 2012 Ford Escape was traveling westbound on Highway 92, crossed the center line and collided with a 2016 Dodge Ram traveling eastbound. The driver of the Ford Escape received minor injuries sustained during the accident.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not a factor. Distracted driving is believed to be the contributing factor.
Driver of the Ford Escape was issued a citation. Both drivers are juveniles.
