Kearney couple arrested for meth possession
KEARNEY - Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 around 7:00am Kearney Police Department assisted with a search warrant in the 300 block West Railroad Street in Kearney. TRIDENT (Tri Cities Drug Enforcement Team) served a drug related search warrant which resulted in the arrest of Nicole Peterson, a 46-year-old female from Kearney, and Allen Sazzman, a 66-year-old male also from Kearney. Both suspects were arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).
TRIDENT is a multi-agency team comprised of nine Law Enforcement Agencies consisting of Kearney Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, Grand Island Police Department, Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Hastings Police Department, Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office, FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.
