Man With Multiple Warrants Arrested After Attempted Assault

(Grand Island, NE) On Saturday morning, November 11th at 1:46 a.m. Grand Island police officers responded to 204 E Koenig to a report of an unconscious male. Upon arrival, the male was found to be with the fire department and awake. The male was identified as Felipe Calleros Amarilles and he attempted to walk past officers to argue with a bystander. Calleros Amarilles was stopped by an officer and he attempted to hit officers. Officers attempted to take Calleros Amarilles into custody and he pulled his arms away from officers. Calleros Amarilles was placed under arrest for Attempted Assault of an Officer and Resisting Arrest and his Hall, Adams, and Douglas County Warrants.
