Northwest Basketball Hits The Road To Gretna Tonight

(Gretna, NE) - The Northwest basketball teams hit the road tonight (Tuesday, Feb. 17th) at Gretna for the second-to-last games of the regular season for the Vikings. Northwest will host Elkhorn North in its regular-season finale on Thursday. 

Both Northwest teams won last Thursday against Lincoln Standing Bear. Girls defeating the Grizzles, 57-47. The Vikings boys defeated Standing Bear, 57-54. The two teams then turned around on Friday night last week, hosting Beatrice. The Northwest girls fell, 44-37. The Vikings boys dropped their contest to the Orangemen, 65-51. 

New to the Vikings' schedule is a matchup with the Gretna Dragons. The Gretna girls come in with a record of 12-8. The Gretna boys are 12-9. Listen to both games on 103.1 FM & 2dayfm1031.com. The girls' game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 pm, with the boys' game to follow at 6:45 pm.
