Northwest Boys Cross Country Wins Central Conference

(Elwood, NE) - The Northwest boys' cross country finished on top at the Central Conference meet at Lakeside Country Club in Elwood on Wednesday.

Lexington was the host of the meet that saw three Vikikings finish in the top 10: Ethan Smith (2nd), Jaxon Cushing (3rd), and Joe Sutherland (9th). Other participants for Northwest included. Corbyn Roy finished (14th), Deacon Bayne (17th), and Jaidden Glandt (19th). 

Behind the Vikings in the team standings included Seward (2nd), Lexington (3rd), Aurora (4th, and York (5th). 

Seward would win the girls' side of things, followed by Adams Central, Crete, Aurora, and York in the top five. Haylen Holliday of Seward would win the individual conference championship.
