Race For Nebraska Governor May See Two Additional Candidates
Three candidates are currently running for Nebraska governor but, two more candidates are attempting to throw in their names for the general election.
David Wright of Ewing, a former rancher, has re-registered as nonpartisan and submitted signatures to get on the general election ballot.
He awaits word from the Secretary of State whether he qualifies.
Robert Borer, an outspoken critic of the election process, who denied the results of the 2020 presidential election is mounting a write-in campaign.
He has until Oct. 28 to file an affidavit to have his write-in votes counted.
Wright and Borer would join the field with Republican Jim Pillen, Democrat Carol Blood and Libertarian Scott Zimmerman.
