Sodbusters Run-Rule Plainsmen

It was strong start and finish for the Hastings Sodbusters in a 14-4 seven-inning win over the Plainsmen on Saturday. Hastings plated five runs on six hits in the first inning. 

The Plainsmen battled to within one before the Sodbusters closed it out with nine unanswered. 

Creighton Jacobitz worked the first 4.1 innings, but was on a pitch count. He allowed two earned runs on six hits. The move allows Jacobitz to be able to pitch on Wednesday in the first half finale at Casper. 

Jacob Beaudoin worked 2.2 innings of three-hit relief for the win.

Christian Loera was 2-5, scored three times and knocked in one. Jackson Crain was 2-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. Jett Hannaford went 2-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
