Sodbusters Sweep

Hastings pushed its season opening winning streak to six with a pair of wins over Oahe. 

In the opener Creighton Jacobitz and Nate Fisher combined on a no hitter in a 10-3 win. The Zap scored their first two runs on an error and got their third on a sacrifice fly.

Jacobitz has now thrown 13 no-hit innings in his 2-0 start. Jett Hannaford went 3-4, knocked in three and scored once. Weston Johnson went 2-2 and scored twice.

In game two, The Sodbusters earned a 4-1 victory. Derek Rockett tossed six innings of 3-hit ball for his first win.  Johnston had two hits, including a triple and scored once. Ryan Jarvis was 2-2 with an RBI. 

Hastings hosts Fremont on Monday at 6:35.
