St. Libory Honors Veterans With Friday Morning School Program

(St. Libory) - St. Libory Elementary School held a Veterans Day celebration program on Friday morning. The program featured songs from the 6-8th band (My Country Tis of Thee), K-3 sang (Because of You/Veterans&Troops), and 4-5 sang (God Bless America). St. Libory student Mia Mitchell read the story of the "Missing Man Table". Amber Dizmang who is a para/substitute teacher at St. Liobry shared her story of being a military child. The guest speaker of the event was Lieutenant Colonel Dustin Wilkie, Deputy State Aviation Officer for the Nebraska Army National Guard.
