Three Central Nebraskans Charged in Federal Court

United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced the federal Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska has returned 10 unsealed Indictments charging 10 defendants. Indictments are charging documents that contain one or more individual counts that are merely accusations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Amilcar Aguilar-Carrillo, age 31, of Omaha, Nebraska, is charged with being an alien, who previously had been excluded, deported and removed from the United States and was found in the United States, without the Attorney General of the United States or her designated successor having expressly consented to the defendant’s reapplication for admission into the United States on or about January 9, 2026. The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 2 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 1-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.

Tyvell Arps, age 25, of Omaha, Nebraska, is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm on or about August 29, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 15 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. 

Jordan Robert Langston, age 25, of Ogden, Utah, is charged with interference with a flight crew on or about December 28, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 20 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. 

Marlon Leiva-Orellana, age 32, of Omaha, Nebraska, is charged in a two-count Indictment.  Count I charges Leiva-Orellana with being an alien in possession of a firearm on or about January 13, 2026.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 15 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. Count II charges Leiva-Orellana with being an alien, who previously had been excluded, deported and removed from the United States and was found in the United States, without the Attorney General of the United States or her designated successor having expressly consented to the defendant’s reapplication for admission into the United States on or about January 13, 2026. The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 2 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 1-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.    

Abraham Hernandez-Calderon, age 40, of Omaha, Nebraska, is charged in a three-count Indictment.  Count I charges Hernandez-Calderon with possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine on or about November 7, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 5 years and up to 40 years’ imprisonment, a $5,000,000,000 fine, a 4-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.  Count II charges Hernandez-Calderon with possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking on November 7, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 5 years’ imprisonment consecutive to Count I, a $250,000 fine, a 5-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. Count III charges Hernandez-Calderon with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and 500 grams or more of cocaine beginning on or about October 1, 2025, and continuing to on or about November 7, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 5 years and up to 40 years’ imprisonment, a $5,000,000,000 fine, a 4-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.

Miles Morgan, age 33, of Lincoln, Nebraska, is charged in a three-count Indictment.  Count I charges Morgan with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute on or about November 14, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 10 years’ and up to life imprisonment, a $8,000,000,000 fine, a 8-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.  Count II charges Morgan with possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking on or about November 14, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 5 years’ imprisonment consecutive to Count I, a $250,000 fine, a 5-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. Count III charges Morgan with being a felon in possession of a firearm on or about November 14, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 15 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.

Gerson Emir Cuadra Soto, age 33, of Grand Island, Nebraska, is charged with harboring an illegal alien between on or about January 1, 2022, through on or about November 20, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 5 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. 

Tevin T. Randolph, age 24, of Kearney, Nebraska, is charged with escape from custody on or about December 10, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 5 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. 

Paul J. Gray, age 51, of Kearney, Nebraska, is charged in a two-count Indictment.  Count I charges Gray with receipt of child pornography with a prior conviction beginning on or about July 1, 2025 and continuing until on or about August 4, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 15 years’ and up to 40 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a term of supervised release of not less than 5 years and up to life, and a $100 special assessment.  Count II charges Gray with possession of child pornography with a prior conviction on or about August 4, 2025.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 10 years’ and up to 20 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a term of supervised release of not less than 5 years and up to life, and a $100 special assessment.      

Juan Tlantenchi-Mireles, age 25, of Lincoln, Nebraska, is charged with assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, intimidating and interfering with a federal officer on or about January 13, 2026.  The maximum possible penalty if convicted is up to 8 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
