Tri-Cities Battle of the Badges Blood Drive

Law enforcement and fire personnel are often the first to respond when there is an emergency. They are also quick to respond when there is a need, such as the need for blood donations. The American Red Cross is partnering with local first responders for the annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, June 6-9 in the Tri-Cities.

During this blood drive, the Fire Departments and Police Departments from Grand Island, Kearney and Hastings will compete to see who can recruit the most blood donors. 

Battle of the Badges Blood Drive

June 6, Noon-6 p.m.

Donors are asked to call 1-800-RED CROSS or go to redcrossblood.org to schedule a blood donation appointment, using Sponsor Code: Tri City BOB

All who come to donate will receive a commemorative “Battle of the Badges” t-shirt. Additionally, all presenting donors will also receive a $10 gift card by email to the merchant of their choice.
