Urbanski headed to Omaha for Track & Field
(Grand Island, NE) - Northwest senior Avyn Urbanski made it official on Friday afternoon at Northwest High School signing her letter of intent to head to Omaha to run track for the Mavericks. The three-sport athlete for the Vikings was a part of the Northwest state championship softball team this past fall and played basketball in the winter. Urbanski plans on running sprints at Omaha and majoring in Sports Psychology. Below listen to an interview with Urbanski as she talks about the decision along with the last few weeks of the track season coming up for the Vikings including the district meet on Tuesday in Holdrege.
