Veterans Day Closings

Grand Island, Neb. — With the Veterans Day on the horizon, the City of Grand Island would like to announce various closures.

All of the below departments will be closed on Monday, November 11:

 * Grand Island City Hall
 * Crane Public Transit
 * Utilities Service Center
 * Solid Waste Facility
 * Grand Island Public Library
 * GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
  * Transit Office
  * Street & Fleet Office
  * Wastewater Treatment Plant
  * Grand Island Cemetery Office

Jackrabbit Run Golf Course will remain open for both practice and play from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Community Fieldhouse will also be open from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Heartland Shooting Park will be closed.
