Work will begin tomorrow on N-70, Ord North

March 25, 2025 (Grand Island, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will begin tomorrow, March 26, on Nebraska Highway 70 (N-70) at reference post 123+57, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
JMN Construction, LLC, of Valley, is the contractor for this project. Work includes bridge deck repairs, asphalt overlay and joint replacement. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers and temporary traffic signals. A 14-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is April 2025.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
