We are definitely delighted to let you know about our Dashing for Donuts event on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Come and Walk-Run-Roll-Stroll this 1-Mile Dash in Downtown Railside in Grand Island. You’ll start at the YMCA at 8:30 am with the Grand Island Police Department sending you off and finishing with each participant receiving a Dunkin’ Donut!!! You can even "dash" with your dog (no fee for furry friends)!! Costumes and craziness are welcome, and the first 300 participants will receive a swag item! You can register in person or by phone at the Grand Island Y @ (308) 395-9622, or you can register online at: http://getmeregistered.com/DashingforDonuts With the support of Parks Veterinary the first 100 participants to donate $5 or more in cash and/or pet supplies to Voice for Companion Animals will receive a cool collapsible bowl for their furry friends. We are delighted to partner with Live Well Physical Therapy to help support the Food for Thought Program (through GIPS). Bring items to donate when you register at the Y or to the event on December 7. Your name will be entered into a raffle drawing (for two $200 VISA gift cards) once for each donated item.
