AGI Grand Island To Close

Winnipeg, MB, June 4, 2024: Ag Growth International (TSX: AFN) (“AGI” or the “Company”) announced, today, that it is standardizing its North American galvanized steel bins to 4.00-inch wide corrugation to align with category growth and customer demand. This standardized bin format
strengthens AGI’s storage catalog in the United States and provides dealer customers with new products that increase their ability to compete in the widely adopted 4.00-inch corrugation market.

Wide corrugation bins, previously available to customers in Canada and select northern states will now be made available across the United States.
“We are strengthening our offering of 4.00-inch wide corrugation products across the U.S. market and enabling our dealers to be even more successful,” says Scott McKernan, AGI Sr. Vice President of U.S. Farm. AGI’s adoption of a 4.00-inch wide bin wall standard will result in the closure of its Grand Island, NE facility. The Grand Island facility predominantly manufactured 2.66-inch narrow corrugated bin walls. “It is a difficult decision to close a plant like Grand Island, which has a proud legacy of serving agriculture,” says McKernan. “We are grateful for the dedication and contributions of our Grand Island employee team. Our priority, right now, is to assist our employees during this transition process.”

With U.S. headquarters in Naperville, IL, AGI has plant and warehouse locations across the U.S. including Albion, NE; Omaha, NE; Falls City, NE; Horace, ND; Sioux Falls, SD; Wynne, AR; Decatur, IL; Marshall, IL; Boone, IA; Clay Center, KS; Lenexa, KS; and Joplin, MO.
