Calling all Volunteers for Heartland United Way’s Day of Action

Grand Island, June 20, 2024 - Each year, communities worldwide gather for United Way's Day of Action, a global volunteering initiative aimed at creating impactful change. This year, Heartland United Way is rallying volunteers to join in and be a part of this transformative movement.

On Thursday, June 20th, from 9 am to 4 pm, Heartland United Way will host its Day of Action, inviting individuals and teams to lend a helping hand to 15 of its Partner Agencies. These agencies will open their doors to welcome volunteers eager to contribute in various ways, including gardening, painting, washing windows, building social media content, and more. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the day to accommodate diverse schedules.

The event will also feature Coffee Floats in the morning at 8:30 am and Root Beer Floats in the afternoon at 12:30 pm, all hosted at our office located at 1441 N Webb Rd, Grand Island, NE 68803. Kick off your day on a refreshing note with Heartland United Way!
