CHI Health Center to Host NSAA State Wrestling Championships For Next 5 Years

The NSAA is pleased to announce that we have entered a new 5-year contract with CHI Health Center Omaha to host the NSAA State Wrestling Championships through the 2028-29 season.  This new contract will allow the girls’ championships and the boys’ championships to be held independently. 

The NSAA Girls State Wrestling Championships will be held on Tuesday-Wednesday, with the finals televised Wednesday evening on Nebraska Public Media. The Boys Wrestling Championships will be held Thursday-Saturday of the same week with the finals also televised on Nebraska Public Media on Saturday.

Next year’s dates:

Girls Championships – February 18-19, 2025

Boys Championships – February 20-22, 2025

Additionally, girls wrestling will no longer have a sub-district round and girls’ districts will be held on the same weekend as boys districts. Girls wrestling will have two classes, starting next year.
