Choice Family Health Care in Kearney Receives Community Support for Clinic Renovation
Choice Family Health Care, a non-profit community-based clinic specializing in reproductive health care and health education, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two grants through the Kearney Area Community Foundation to support their “You Matter” campaign to enhance the clinic’s facilities by updating the flooring and painting the walls, creating a more welcoming environment for patients.
The clinic is the recipient of the Arthur Klinkacek Community Enrichment Fund Grant ($4,000) and the Building for Tomorrow matching grant ($1,000) of the Kearney Area Community Foundation.
“We are grateful for the support from the Kearney Area Community Foundation,” said Ryan King, Executive Director at Choice Family Health Care. “These dollars, coupled with community donations, allow for the renovations that will not only enhance the aesthetics of our clinic but also contribute to a positive experience for our patients.” This project emphasizes the importance of local partnerships and community investment. Nonprofit programs cannot exist unless everyone works together to make them happen.
The clinic plans to begin the renovation project in the coming weeks, with a focus on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Patients can expect to see fresh paint, updated flooring, and an overall improved environment during their visits. The clinic, located at 4503 2nd Avenue Ste 209 Kearney, NE, provides affordable, quality health care and education to women, men, and adolescents that may be uninsured or from low-income families.
