FNBO Announces 2024 City Ambassadors

Omaha, NE, March 6, 2024 – FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha) is proud to announce its 2024 City Ambassadors, a group of 21 employees helping to support communities across the bank’s eight-state footprint.

“We are so appreciative of the passion our City Ambassadors have for our communities and the great care they take to ensure communities are supported well, especially in our key focus areas of financial literacy, workforce development and affordable housing,” said Christina Kahler, Managing Director, Philanthropy.

City Ambassadors lead the Impact by FNBO strategy in its local communities by providing direction and visibility for community work internally and externally. They drive local decisions on philanthropic giving and serve as leaders and key points of contact in the community, while helping to ensure employees are engaged in volunteer service and elevating community needs and successes.

In 2023, FNBO’s City Ambassadors oversaw $2.8 million in philanthropic support outside of Omaha. They are appointed for one-year terms, though with their depth of expertise and commitment, many serve for more than a year in the role.
