GI Man Arrested for Assault

Brief Narrative: Officers responded to a report of a Disturbance at 615 2nd St W; Pioneer Park. Male victim reports Mohammed Hassan attempted to strike him with a stick. Witnesses confirmed that Mohammed Hassan attempted and even struck the victim with the stick. A broken piece of framing was located where it was described the male threw the stick. Victim identified the framing as the weapon used by Mohammed to attempt to strike him. Witnesses also advised the victim made several attempts to get away from Mohammed, but Mohammed would continue to follow the male around and attempt to strike him. Mohammed used the framing in the commission of a felony charge of attempted 2nd degree assault. Mohammed was placed under arrest for Attempted 2nd Degree Assault and Use Deadly Weapon to Commit Felony.
