Grand Island Public Library Release - Nebraska Magician to Appear at Grand Island Public Library Inbox
Grand Island, Neb. — In one week, Master Magician Adam White is set to entertain at the Grand Island Public Library to help promote this year’s summer reading program with his unique blend of family fun, comedy magic and audience participation.
Adam White, a professional magician since 1993 and a Nebraska native, will present lessons in the importance of reading through magical effects. Audiences can expect to enjoy the ‘Only A Rope’ trick, appearing and disappearing books, Kenny The Mind Reading Skunk and much more during this free, all-ages program on Monday, June 17 at 10:30 a.m.
All children who attend will be able to help make the magic happen! Free magic tricks will also be given to all when they meet the magician after the show.
“I love doing this show,” White said. “It energizes me every time I present it. I have the best seat in the house because I get to see all of the kids’ faces as they ‘aw’ in amazement and laugh hysterically. It is purposely designed with the entire family in mind and the parents have as much, if not more fun than their children!”
White appears at more than 200 events annually including conventions, theaters and schools nationwide. He is highly respected in the magic community as one of the country’s leading family magicians, and is also the author of the children’s magic book “You Are Magic!”
“Mega Monday” programs featuring special guests like Adam White will be held at the library every Monday at 10:30 a.m. through July 22, and are free and open to all ages.
