Northwest Marching Band to Perform at GIPL

Grand Island, Neb. — If you’re looking to get into the fall spirit, the Northwest Marching Band will be performing in the Grand Island Public Library parking lot from 10:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m. on Thursday, September 5.

Join us to hear their 2024 show "Pictures at Bald Mountain," featuring the music of Modest Mussorgsky, as well as several other fun tunes. Conducted by drum majors Leah Carlson, Alyssa Cornelius, and Kenzie Rasmussen, the Northwest Marching Band is 93 members strong and is directed by Shawn Pfanstiel.
