Sodbusters Extend Streak

The Hastings Sodbusters got another strong pitching performance and had timely hitting in a 3-1 win over Fremont on Monday.  Nathan Masar worked five innings of three-hit ball to pick up the win. Braden Cork, the fourth pitcher of the day, worked the final two innings for his team leading third save. Drew Vega went 2-3 and scored a run to pace the offense. Hastings faces the Plainsmen on Tuesday at 6:35.
