What could have easily been the wrong end of a sweep turned into a series win for the Hastings Sodbusters.  Hear Joel Schipper's comments below.

After rallying to split a doubleheader Saturday, Hastings came from four runs down for a 6-5 win over the Nebraska Prospects on Sunday.  Yamato Sato's two-run double capped a four-run sixth inning to tie the contest. Ryan Jarvis knocked home Drew Vega  with the go-ahead run in the seventh.  Matis Crouwel brought home what turned out to be the winning run with a sacrifice fly to score Kale Jensen in the eighth.

Josh Prinner went 3-3, doubled and scored a run. Jarvis was 4-3 with two RBI's and a run scored.

On the mound, Brendan Wabick worked the first six innings in his longest outing of the year. He allowed four runs, three earned, struck out nine while walking only one.  James Velasquez earned the win with a scoreless seventh. Dino Morales got the final six outs for his third save.

After a road trip to Fremont and Oahe, Hastings returns home to face the Plainsmen on July first.
